Energy Healing Reviews

I am so in love with energy work.  I love giving it, receiving it, and learning as much as I can about it.  It is one of the most amazing phenomenons I have ever witnessed.  I wrote THIS BLOG a while back explaining what energy work is and who can benefit!  I have some space in my schedule in December and January to offer this to you.  Please message me if interested.  Below are REAL reviews from my clients.  xo

I trust Kacy with my deepest and most vulnerable feelings. When she invited me to a healing session, I mostly went to be supportive of her. Turns out, I needed the support much more. She asked me a big question. When was the last time I felt joy? I couldn’t remember. In my time with her, she worked on balancing me, focusing me and setting me on a course to find joy every single day. That was 3 months ago. I have had joy everyday. I feel strong and energized. It was me that needed to the support. She guided me to the love and the light. I love you. I also want to share that I have suffered greatly from nerve pain in my hand. She healed my hand. I can’t even describe how, but twice she poured her warmth and energy into my hand. I can hold my children’s hands again without pain and fear. Life changing.  -E.M.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this whole “energy healing” until I saw it in action.  I saw someone go from being in excruciating pain to no pain at all within minutes.  I booked a session for myself within a week.  During my session Kacy was able to tell me things I was experiencing and feeling physically that she couldn’t have known without her being able to channel my energy.  (again, something I didn’t totally believe until I experienced it.)  I was able to release a lot of tension and stress during the session through talking to Kacy.  Afterwards I felt very calm and “higher” if that makes sense.  I would have since recommended it to others and will go back!  -K.J.

When Kacy announced after one of her yoga classes that she would be offering Reiki sessions, I was immediately interested. I had been dealing with some depression, low back pain and feeling all around crappy about myself and the point I was at in my life.  I had been feeling this way for quite some time and I knew I could benefit from having energy work done. After researching and speaking with Kacy about what a session entailed, I decided it was something I wanted to pursue. What I loved the most was how comfortable Kacy made me feel during our session.  I had no issues opening up to her, although being the amazing Reiki master she is, she practically already knew what was going on based off of the energy in the room. After our session I felt lighter and my chakras felt much more open. I could even tell a difference in my yoga practice.  I was able to let go and be present, and that was a great feeling. Kacy is a truly knowledgeable and wonderful person! I would recommend anyone to her who was interested in a Reiki session.  –H.B.

There are many reasons a person could prosper from energy work,  and for myself I was looking to enhance my source of energy in an effort to help my body be at its best. In order to receive positive energy you must work with someone who radiates the type of energy you’re looking to increase. For me this was Kacy Pleasants. When I arrived to her studio there was an immediate sense of calm but also a great deal of professionalism shown. We discussed information I had presented prior to our meeting and as we began,  I felt relaxed the entire time. Since my session I have a heightened sense of awareness and an incredible bright energy that I am able to share with all that I come in contact with.   –C.B.energy0

I had a wonderful energy healing session with Kacy just a few weeks ago during a fairly stressful period of time in my life.  She was so wonderful and open, and picked up on some negative energy that I had been carrying around with me for some time without even realizing it.  Once our session started, I could actually feel this tension and energy being released from certain areas of my body.  I left feeling a great sense of relief and lightness, with an understanding of how I needed to change my reactions to certain stressors and events in my life – how to bring some acceptance to the situation.  It was beautiful and very freeing.  –N.C.

I would love to help you find balance and release negative energy.
I have space Dec 23-28, Jan 1-3, and Jan 5-7.

We went shooting!

So, one of my #37in37 list items was to go to a shooting range.  I am actually very comfortable around guns. My dad had several guns and taught me how to correctly hold and shoot rifles and pistols, gun safety, and how to aim and fire different firearms.

Off me and my hubby went to Carolina Sporting Arms for an afternoon of fun!  I had a Groupon (of course!), but this is not a cheap hobby.  The gun rental, space rental and safety equipment is not bad…Its the ammo that gets you.  Be prepared to spend up to $100, depending on what type of gun(s) you want to shoot.  (They are getting in automatic machine guns soon…I cannot wait to go back.  GI Jane better watch herself.)

All protected with safety eye glasses and sound proof earmuffs.  (Which you get to keep!)

Here is my favorite little pistol  I shot.  Very light, and easy to load.  My aim was pretty good for being out of practice.  I even beat my hubby!

This is Larry.  Sweet Larry helped us out tons and answered all our questions.  He loaded the bullets into the magazine in 30 seconds.  I pretended I didn’t know how to load after a while because, let’s face it, the shooting is the fun part!

My man looking smoking hot.  <3

Do not worry about lead contamination  They take a ton of precautions with special soap, wipes, sticky mats for your shoes when leaving, and a state of the art ventilation system.

I have to admit that this was pretty bad ass.  I’ll go back for sure.  Wednesday night is ladies night…how fun would that be?

I love doing life with this guy!

Date night, ladies night, mother-son time, on your lunch break…go check this place out asap!

I got Eyelash Extensions

Ya’ll know I am a huge beauty junkie.

I was so excited to have my friend Jordan Godfrey come over last week and put on some eyelash extensions!  This is something I have wanted to do for a long time, and finally just bit the bullet and did it.

I wanted to have Jordan introduce herself on my blog, so I sat down with her for a chat before we got down to business!

Me:  Tell my readers about you!
Jordan:  Hey loves! I am Jordan Godfrey, owner/esthetician of Lash Boutique a la mode. I am 21 years young,  have a wonderful boyfriend and our two dogs we love so dearly: Rex and Pinot! I started doing eyelash extensions a year ago. I went to Academy of Nails and Esthetics in Charlotte, to become an esthetician and then went on to get certified by Novalash to be a professional lash extensions stylist. I work full time at a doctors office and had started my eyelash business as just a hobby on the side in the evenings. It has now grown so fast to where I have at 2 to 6 clients an evening after getting off work. I am so blessed my business has blossomed into what it is today! Who would have ever thought lash extensions would be such a huge hit?  I hope to be able to one day do eyelashes full time. It makes me so happy to know I am able to provide a service to make others feel good about the way they look. Thank you to everyone for being able to allow me to have a job I absolutely LOVE!

Me: What products do you use?

Jordan: I am certified in Novalash. I use Novalash glue, which is the only one that is proven to be formaldehyde free.  (Formaldehyde is proven to cause cancer!)  Novalash is also the only one which IS oil loving.
Any oil will break down the other glues,  causing your extensions to fall off and not last as long.
Novalash glue is conditioned by oil causing it to stay soft, supple and not crunchy sounding.
I use synthetic lashes from different brands. My favorite at the moment is Minky lashes.
Individual lash extensions are placed on one by one, hence the name INDIVIDUAL.
Clusters and strip lashes can cause permanent lash damage. When you place too heavy of a lash or cluster of lashes onto one natural lash, it can cause breakage to your natural lashes.
All the fiber mascaras and most all mascaras have chemicals in them that have been proven to cause permanent damage to your lashes.

Me: I have been hesitant to get extensions because of the upkeep.  How do I take care of these lashes?

Jordan: With lash extensions you can go about your every day life; Swimming, working out, showering, etc. without them all falling out and without using mascara!  Lash extensions are like nails, you will need to have them filled in every so often due to natural fall out and wear and tear. Most people don’t know this, but your lashes have 3 different phases…Growing, resting and shedding. Your lashes are always falling out and growing new ones in their place.  YES that is correct! You aren’t born with just one set of lashes, so don’t freak out when you lose a lash, another one will grow in its place as long as there is nothing there to cause damage, (EX: Clusters, Strip lashes or Fiber mascaras)
Lashes provide not only a fast easy morning of getting ready, but also provides a natural curl and opens up your eyes providing a “face lift” or “eye lift” affect.
Lashes are truly the new trend that I don’t believe is going to be going out of style anytime soon!

Here I am- in the comfort of my own home with Jordan applying my lashes!  Jordan is a huge perfectionist, which I LOVE.  If a lash is even the slightest bit crooked, she fixes it.  If your lashes cannot hold the longest extensions, she will not put those on.  (I hate to say it, but there are people out there that will let you leave with jacked up lashes, maybe skip a few lashes, and put on heavy extensions which causes your lashes to break!) Jordan wants you to have the most wonderful experience with ultimate care for your lashes.  It has been a week and I am absolutely in love with these lashes!
