Weekend Recap

This weekend was a whirlwind of all amazing, but busy things!  I am sure you are all feeling the holiday hustle and bustle as well!

We kicked off Friday evening with a cookout and invited my in-laws to come over as well.  Yes, we had a cookout in December.  Am I the only one LOVING the 70 degree weather?  It was great to relax and have dinner with Daniel’s parents.  They are in the process of moving and have been back and forth several times.  We haven’t seen Daniel’s dad in 4 months!  So, we fired up the grill, pattied up some burgers, and poured the wine!

I taught a group of very energetic yogis Saturday morning at Charlotte Yoga.  This is the first class of the day on the schedule and these people are always ready to go…they keep me on my toes!

After teaching, I went and got a manicure and pedicure.  Much needed!  I chose something a little more funky this time…I needed a break from my neutral Bubble Bath.  I wanted a blue that really looked blue.  You know how sometimes they look black?  I found this one with a little sparkle, and a great name.  “Give me Space.”  ha ha!

I went home and went on a walk with my hubby and Toby.  Again…loving this weather.  After our walk, I headed to the airport to pick up my sister and my 2 nephews who are here from Dubai!  They are here for several weeks and I am ecstatic!

We went to a tree lighting service near our house…again in shorts!  Ha ha!  My daughter babysat all day, so after dinner we went shoe shopping and out for frozen yogurt.  Back home to watch a “The Middle” with my husband, and early to bed for me!  Side Note:  That is one of the funniest shows on television.  🙂

Service at church on Sunday was Caroling, bells, and brass instruments.  This is one of my favorite services and I look forward to it all year!

I taught a class at the Y, then zoomed back to church to get this little one ready for the annual Christmas play.

My sister and nephews came to watch the play too!

Ahhhhh.  Sunday night relaxation for just a bit.

Have an awesome week!  xo
